What are the advantages of SMART TV?

The main advantage of Smart TVs is internet access, as it opens thousands of doors and possibilities are endless. However, this condition can also bring inconveniences. 

To use all Smart TV features, you must be connected to the internet. As a rule, these are installed in the living room, next to the router, which is no problem. However, if you have other plans for the Smart TV, such as placing it in the bedroom or kitchen, you should think about how you are going to connect to the internet. If you buy a Smart TV with Wi-Fi connection, it won't be complicated, but make sure that the place where you are going to install it has enough signal so you don't experience connection disturbances. 

As with everything, there is always another side to the coin. Tech experts point out only one disadvantage to Smart TVs: the possible invasion of privacy. Some models are equipped with a camera and microphone, so you can make video calls and, because they are connected to the internet, they can be the target of attacks. In order not to take that risk, it is best to turn off these options when they are not being used. 

Now, once the Smart TV is installed and the internet is on, there are a number of very interesting features for entertainment lovers.

How to choose a Smart TV? 

Within the world of Smart TVs, there are countless models available, applications and features, some of which are free and already installed and others that can be purchased. 

The resolution 

What resolution do you want? LED TV? Ultra HD 4K TV? Or QLED TV? Let's go to the differences.

And as for the size, which one should you choose? A simple 32-inch or a giant over 70?

The SMPTE (Society of Motion Picture & Television Engineers) recommends that the distance be equal to 1.6 x the diagonal size of the TV. That is, if the distance between you and the TV is 1.5 meters, the ideal size of the screen will be the equivalent of about 37 inches.
